New Sengkang Hospital – An Exciting New Chapter in Singapore Healthcare

Sengkang Health forms a vital part of Singapore’s master plan in providing innovative, quality and accessible healthcare to our vibrant island nation of over five million people. Nestled in the northeast heartland, it will offer cutting-edge general hospital competencies with community-based care.

As a member of SingHealth, Singapore’s largest academic healthcare cluster, Sengkang General and Community Hospitals will augment SingHealth’s infrastructure in delivering a full spectrum of care to meet our population’s growing healthcare needs. With a strong community focus, Sengkang Health envisions building an ecosystem of healthy living for the benefit of residents in northeast Singapore.

The Sengkang General and Community Hospitals will be conveniently located next to Cheng Lim LRT station and diagonally across from the Sengkang MRT station (300 m). It will have easy access to amenities such as the bus interchange and retail complexes.

With access to SingHealth’s network of tertiary academic specialist hospitals and national centres, Sengkang General and Community Hospitals will partner primary care physicians, polyclinics and intermediate-and-long term care providers to offer a seamless healthcare experience for residents in north-eastern Singapore.

Slated for completion in 2018, this future 1,400-bed integrated hospital development will deliver holistic, multi-disciplinary and patient-centric care covering all major healthcare disciplines.

The Punggol Medical Centre (PMC) is an ambulatory specialist centre that aims to bring affordable quality healthcare to the community in the Northeast. Together with SKH, PMC will support primary care services in the district, which includes Sengkang Polyclinic, the planned Punggol Polyclinic and other family physician clinics. It will cater to outpatients who require episodic care from specialists in a less acute environment.
